Shield filters your whole network from a spare computer or from the cloud
By The Shop · Dispatch from Alice · 1 min read
Shield installs on any spare machine that stays plugged in, an old laptop or a closet desktop, and turns it into an internet filter for every device on your network. You change one setting in your router, and blocked sites stay blocked on the phones, tablets, and computers behind it. A control panel shows what is happening.
No spare machine, no problem. The cloud version does the same filtering through a setting change on your device or a browser add-on, with nothing that has to stay powered on. Both versions run the same blocking rules, so the protection matches either way.
